Connected Energy is delighted to have won the North East Automotive Alliance's 2020 SME Innovation award at a ceremony on Friday evening.
The award, presented by judges Newcastle University, recognises the company that successfully develops any form of innovation. This includes new products, services or process improvements, that has had the greatest impact on an organisation or market sector. The judges looked for evidence of how the innovation had been developed and applied to improve commercial performance, operational effectiveness, customer engagement and the innovation culture within the organisation.
Our prize includes a £1,000 donation to a school's automotive or STEM project of their choice: we selected Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham. Stay tuned for updates on how they use the donation.
