Connected Energy featured in the National Innovation Centre for Data Annual Report

Innovating through data to take our second-life systems further

Connected Energy features in the National Innovation Centre for Data (NICD) Annual Report thanks to our work with the centre on how we use the vast sums of data we pull from our second-life battery energy storage systems. We worked with the team to help us with predicting future capacities of second-life electric vehicle batteries and how we can monitor them to optimise their outputs. The report is available here: https://ncl.ac.uk/nicd/brochure/.

We're collaborating with NICD on a variety of projects including launching a real world data project for Newcastle University Data Science masters students. That project, using Connected Energy E-STOR data, introduces the students to the vast amounts of data our systems produce and allows them to explore it in groups around a question we've set them.
