Connected Energy: exhibiting and pitching at Rushlight Summer Showcase Thursday 14 June

Newcastle’s Connected Energy, one of the UK’s energy storage leaders, is to exhibit and take part in Innovate UK Energy Catalyst Round 4 showcase

The event incorporates an exhibition of over 50 innovative clean technology solutions; a conference including the Cleantech Innovation Showcase, opened by Claire Perry, Minister of State for Energy and Clean Growth at BEIS; and investor networking.

Connected Energy will showcase its 2nd life battery based energy storage expertise, projects and products, in particular the ‘2nd hEVen project’ which it is leading with collaboration partners Jaguar Land Rover, Warwick Manufacturing Group and Videre Global. Connected Energy’s E-STOR energy storage system is already making significant savings for customers including Statkraft and Engie.

Matthew Lumsden, Connected Energy’s CEO will present the business in the Late investment / Market-ready session, from 4-5.30pm to a panel of invited investors, financiers and corporate partners.

The Rushlight Summer Showcase is the marketplace that brings together over 150 cleantech developers and sustainable solution providers, active European investors and financiers, corporate venturers, government departments, business partners, consultants, intermediaries, advisers and businesses looking to source suppliers and partners for an improved level of sustainability in their supply chain and operations.
